Experience Counts
James Hill, president and founder of Handyman Hill, LLC, does construction / repair work because he loves it and is very good at it. In fact, he chose to study Construction Management in college and has 14 years of hands-on experience in the industry.
The last eleven of those years were spent working at Griggs Contracting, a prominent Atlanta-based commercial construction company, where he worked his way up from laborer to Project Manager to Estimator (i.e., senior manager). Unfortunately, Griggs Contracting was severely affected by the recent industry-wide depression and was no longer a viable employment option.
Jack of all Trades
So, with his extensive experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, drywall, painting, finishing, repairs, remodeling, flooring, decks, new construction, etc., James decided to create Handyman Hill, LLC. He loves running his own business and derives great satisfaction from working with his hands, solving problems, building and repairing, and helping others. He particularly enjoys helping people with lists of projects and repairs that need to be done who don't know where to start.
